Stephanie Robertson, director of mental health equity innovation at the National Alliance on Mental Illness, or NAMI, will deliver the opening keynote for the NAMI Iowa Annual Mental Health Conference on Nov. 21. Her address, titled “Psychiatric Advancements in Medicine, Medicaid, and Social Determinants of Health,” will examine how innovation, federal policy and equity initiatives shape access to mental health care. Robertson leads efforts such as the Community Health Equity Alliance to foster collaboration between health systems, providers, and underserved communities.
