Successful Farming reports that farmers are hustling to harvest after heavy rains in late September and early October.

Successful Farming reports that farmers are hustling to harvest after heavy rains in late September and early October. As of Sunday, 19 percent of Iowa’s soybean crop had been harvested, down from an average of 51 percent at this time of year. Farmers had harvested 17 percent of the corn, half the average of the past five years.
