Community Foundation tops $76 million in 2017 donations
The Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines made $42.5 million in grants last year, raising a record $76.4 million in donations. The grants supported 2,100 charitable programs. The Community Foundation also provided administration for $542 million in charitable funds. The addition of 175 new funds to Community Foundation brought the total managed by the Foundation to 1,808.
