The 2018 House of Mercy Game Show Gala, presented by Nationwide and produced by the Mercy Foundation, will take place June 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center in Des Moines. The annual gala is a fun-spirited game show-style fundraiser for House of Mercy, one of Iowa’s largest and most comprehensive providers of vital services for people with substance use disorders, especially parenting women. This year’s co-chairs are Monica Friedman, senior vice president of human resources at Nationwide, and her husband, Rob Friedman, and Denis Frischmeyer, president of Downing Construction, and his wife, Tami Frischmeyer.
