Every few weeks, it seems like we hear of another store opening at the Outlets of Des Moines in Altoona, the 300,000-square-foot retail center that came online in October. Lucky Brand, the denim apparel outfitter, was one of the latest with its opening on May 10. The news had me wondering how full the Outlets are. The official word is the Outlets are not 100 percent full. Bottom line: “More stores to come.” The current count: 41.
