Pillar Technologies’ Council Bluffs project gets state aid

The software company plans a $1.3 million investment and will get tax benefits as long as it creates at least 30 jobs with a wage of at least $18.18 an hour. Pillar also has Forge centers in Des Moines and Jefferson. In other action, the Iowa Economic Development Authority board also approved rules for the new Registered Apprenticeship Development Fund established in the Future Ready Iowa Act. Applications are expected to begin in January 2019.
