Paustian book wins two more awards
Des Moines Area Community College exec Anthony Paustian’s NASA-based book on transformation and change has won its fifth and sixth literary honors. “A Quarter Million Steps: Creativity, Imagination and Leading Transformative Change” recently scored a Discovery Award for Best Business Book during BookExpo America in New York City. The award is from book distributor Ingram. The book also was named a finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards at the American Library Association Annual Conference in New Orleans. Previously the book won a Book Excellence Award for Best Management Book, an Axiom Business Book Awards Silver Medal for Best Motivation, Success, and Coaching Book; a Reviewers’ Choice Literary Award for Best Business Book; and a finalist for the prestigious Eric Hoffer Award. The book centers on lessons pulled from the inspirations of the Apollo space program.
