Kiel leading philanthropy, volunteerism efforts for Wells Fargo

Micah Kiel is the new community relations consultant for Wells Fargo & Co. in Iowa and western Illinois, leading philanthropy, volunteerism and team member giving initiatives. He is based in Des Moines and reports to Community Affairs Manager Cristina Castro-Matukewicz. Kiel has been at Wells Fargo seven years, previously working as a project manager in Wells Fargo Home Lending. “Micah’s passion and commitment to serve communities across Iowa will be an asset to the region,” Castro-Matukewicz said in a statement. “His background in leading through transformational change and working on complex projects will be a benefit to our team and our communities.” Kiel received his bachelor’s degree in communications and Spanish from Creighton University and his master’s degree in business administration from Iowa State. A Los Angeles native, Kiel is a certified project management professional.
