The annual DMACC Small Business Awards has announced five 2018 winners, to be recognized at the annual  awards ceremony on Sept. 13. Proceeds from the event, which includes dinner and live music, will support scholarships for the DMACC Entrepreneurship program. This year’s winners are: Below Farm & Auto Restoration, an auto body repair shop, of Hubbard; CJM Financial Inc., invoice factoring service, of Ankeny; LaunchIT, information technology services, of Urbandale; Pingora Outdoors, technical gear and apparel retailer, of Ankeny; and PowerPollen, an advanced yield enhancement agritech startup, of Ankeny.
