A.M. Best Co. has affirmed the financial strength rating of A and issuer credit rating of “a” for Centurion Life Insurance Co. The rating company also affirmed a financial strength rating of A- and issuer credit rating of “a-” for Centurion Casualty Co. Both are affiliates of Wells Fargo & Co. subsidiary Wells Fargo Financial Inc. A.M. Best said the outlook for all ratings is stable. However, it will monitor the development of business plans for both Centurion companies after their managements were aligned with Wells Fargo Insurance Inc. in the wake of an announcement that Wells Fargo Financial would pull out of the consumer loan business.
