The American Business Women’s Association has named West Des Moines health coach and business owner Jennifer Childress as one of its Top Ten Business Women of the Year. Childress, owner of Patina Esprit Wellness/Jenspiration, was recognized during the ABWA’s national conference Oct. 16. The Top Ten Business Women of ABWA honors 10 outstanding members for excellence in career, education and community involvement. Childress specializes in health coaching and personal training services, and she is also a consultant for US Healthiest, an accreditation program for wellness programming. She has served on the ABWA national board of directors as the District III vice president and is currently the Des Moines Area ABWA Council chair.
