Athletico Physical Therapy, which acquired Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers in December 2014, announced Tuesday that all its acquired centers will be rebranded to the Athletico brand with new signs. Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers operates 12 centers in Greater Des Moines. “We share Accelerated’s commitment to offering highly trained and skilled therapists who provide high-quality clinical care and customer service,” said Mark Kaufman, president and CEO. Athletico, based in Oak Brook, Ill., recently became one of the largest physical therapy providers in the Midwest when it acquired Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers. It now has more than 330 locations in nine states, including 25 in Iowa.
