Affiliates Management Co., the holding company for the Iowa Credit Union League, has acquired First Community Trust NA. The acquisition is expected to be finalized in early 2019 and is subject to shareholder and regulatory approval. Based in Dubuque, FCT is a nationally chartered trust company that delivers trust, investment, retirement and estate planning services to Iowa credit unions, their members and others in the communities served. The company’s headquarters will remain in Dubuque, and FCT’s executive leadership and all staff will remain in place, AMC said in a release. “FCT is a tremendous cultural fit and credit union partner,” said Murray Williams, CEO of AMC and ICUL. “We are optimistic that FCT will assist us in providing greater value to the credit union community by bringing a trusted partner to a significant segment of our membership – those planning for their financial future and retirement.”
