Ag, food, natural resources sectors struggle to fill 60,000 jobs
A new report from Purdue University and the U.S. Department of Agriculture found that the agriculture, food and natural resources sectors will struggle to fill the nearly 60,000 jobs expected to be open in each of the next five years, Iowa Public Radio reported. The report found there aren’t enough graduates in those fields. In fact, it’s likely there will be two jobs open for every graduate.
