AIB recognizes retired professor
AIB College of Business has renamed one of its residence halls Kay Smith Eagles Hall in honor of recently retired professor Catherine Smith.
Smith retired from full-time teaching after 39 years with AIB. Smith was the 2011 commencement speaker and has also received the AIB EAGLE Award from the President’s Cabinet.
She will continue to work part time at AIB as the department chair for the court reporting and captioning department.
