Eric Schuler was formerly head of engineering at the Elanco operations in Larchwood. Today he is president and CEO of newly formed Vos BioTech in Harrisburg, S.D., which has purchased Elanco operations in Larchwood, Vos announced Tuesday. Elanco announced in September 2017 it planned to close its operations in Larchwood and relocate them to Fort Dodge, Iowa. The announcement put the plant’s jobs at risk: 134 at that point, including 106 South Dakotans.
