Airport passenger traffic up 2.9 percent in March
Passenger traffic continued steady growth at Des Moines International Airport in March, rising 2.9 percent to 200,959. For the year, traffic was up 2.4 percent, to 549,075. Cargo was up 5.9 percent in March and 2.9 percent year to date. American Airlines had the biggest March gain in passengers at 30 percent; Frontier had the biggest drop, losing 55.2 percent of its March 2014 count. Read more
