The title is the organization’s highest membership honor, according to a release. Allers has advanced registration and licensing procedures, easing burdens on young professionals, aligning mentoring and education programs with workplace realities, and alleviating difficult regulatory barriers to ensure the public’s safety, according to the release. He has held positions with the Iowa Architectural Examining Board, Iowa Architectural Foundation, AIA Iowa, Fort Dodge Main Street, Fort Dodge Housing Agency, National Architectural Accrediting Board and most recently as first vice president/president-elect of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
