American Express launches social media business tool
American Express OPEN last week launched YourBuzz, a free tool designed to help small businesses manage their online presence.
The tool is built to aggregate conversations across review sites and social networks such as Facebook, Foursquare and Twitter to ensure that listings are accurate, learn what customers are saying and provide a means to respond to customers on social media sites.
According to researcher eMarketer, social media usage by U.S. small businesses has doubled in the past year from 12 to 24 percent, but only 54 percent of those use social networks to monitor feedback.
