American Heart Association taking fit company applications
The American Heart Association is looking for applications to recognize Iowa companies that are taking steps to keep their employees healthy. The association’s Fit-Friendly Company Certification program recognizes employers who create a culture of physical activity and health in the workplace, including implementing policies such as being smoke-free, providing walking routes and programs and offering annual health risk assessments.
