Ames start-up AgCertain acquires KemX in Boone
Ames Tribune: AgCertain Industries, Inc. made its first big investment in Iowa since establishing its headquarters in Ames, through its acquisition of KemX in Boone. The food, agricultural and bio-based product development, manufacturing and marketing company, first formed in 2018 by president and CEO Daniel Oh, is now operating the certified glycerin and vegetable oil refinery company based within the Boone Industrial Park.
