Ankeny Fire Department asks for help in toy donations

87 wordsAll Latest News, Arts and CultureThe Ankeny Fire Department is asking for the community’s help to make sure that children in need can celebrate Christmas through the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots campaign. The fire department will hold a special drive-thru event on Dec. 11 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Fire Station Headquarters, 120 N.W. Ash Drive. All Ankeny fire stations are official drop-off locations for the Toys for Tots campaign. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off Monday through Friday, through Dec. 16, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
