The city of Ankeny will receive a state transportation grant of nearly $1.4 million for street extensions in Crosswinds Business Park. The Iowa Transportation Commission yesterday approved a Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy (RISE) local development grant to assist in construction of 1,640 feet of the Corporate Woods Drive south extension, located south of Southeast Corporate Woods Drive, and 1,610 feet of the Four Mile Drive west extension. Completed improvements will provide access to 10 lots totaling more than 120 acres for light industrial, manufacturing, warehousing and office services in the first phase of Crosswinds Business Park.
