Ankeny residents invited to discuss the city’s public transportation
Ankeny residents interested in providing the city feedback about the community’s public transportation can join a public discussion at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Ankeny Kirkendall Public Library, 1250 S.W. District Drive. Ankeny’s current transit services include Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority Route 98 express bus and Route 4 local bus, Ankeny On-call Demand Response bus, DART Paratransit and DART Bus Plus. Feedback collected from the meeting will help city officials assess residents’ transit expectations, including cost to taxpayers and usage. The meeting is part of the city’s overall transit study.
