The city of Ankeny is accepting applications through March 20 from Ankeny residents who would like to serve on the city’s Plan & Zoning Commission. The commission has one opening for a five-year term. Women are encouraged to apply for this position; all of the city’s boards and commissions are required to comply with the state of Iowa gender balance law. Applicants who have an interest or expertise in land use planning, real estate, building and/or construction in Ankeny’s growing community are encouraged to apply.
