Ankeny to consider public library in Prairie Trails development

83 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentThe Ankeny City Council will consider a resolution today that could lead to the construction of a $13.5 million public library that also would house City Council chambers in the Prairie Trails development. The resolution also recommends renovation of Kirkendall Public Library into an office building for the Public Services and Parks and Recreation departments and the remodeling of existing council chambers at City Hall into office space. The recommendations are from OPN Architects, which was hired to conduct a facility needs study.
