On Sept. 10, Iowa Women Lead Change will host another Invest In She event, only this time in Central Iowa. The event, which gives a select group of female entrepreneurs a chance to make a live pitch about their respective businesses to a panel of local investors, will be held at Sticks Inc. in Des Moines. Investors will then choose to allocate different amounts of money to each woman based on her pitch. Investors also will give business advice to the women and those in attendance. Any woman interested in being an entrepreneur for the event can find application instructions online. Those interested in attending can purchase tickets to the event for $35 per person. Tickets can be purchased online.
