Applications open for Renewable Chemicals Production Tax Credit
Applications for the Iowa Renewable Chemicals Production Tax Credit are available until March 15 for chemicals produced in 2019, according to the Iowa Economic Development Authority. The credit is 5 cents per pound of renewable chemical produced, up to $1 million for startups and $500,000 for established businesses. The program offers incentives for the production of 30 high-value chemicals derived from biomass feedstocks. Applications and information on the program are available online.
