137 wordsAll Latest News, Government Policy and LawAlthough a number of tax filing deadlines were recently extended by Gov. Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Department of Revenue, not all tax filing deadlines have been extended. The department is reminding taxpayers that a number of important tax deadlines are approaching soon, among them estimated income tax payments, which are due April 30. Upcoming sales tax returns and payments are also due as normal on April 30, unless they have been deferred under the Iowa Small Business Relief Program. Applications for deferral under that program are still being accepted through April 30. The department issued an order on April 9 that waives underpayment penalties on estimated tax payments due on or after April 30 and before July 1. More information and a list of tax deadlines can be found on the Iowa Department of Revenue website.
