ATHENA, Male Champions of Change finalists announced
Eight Quad City community leaders recently were named 2019 ATHENA and Male Champion of Change Award finalists by Women Lead Change.
The ATHENA Award is presented to an individual who demonstrates excellence, creativity and initiative in her business or profession, who provides valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community, and who actively assists women in realizing their full leadership potential.
The Male Champion for Change Award recognizes a local male leader who is working to build a gender equal community and who is willing to step up, work together, listen, learn and lead with action.
ATHENA finalists are:

- Dr. Kit Evans-Ford
- Janet Sichterman
- Heidi Storl
- Gwen Tombergs
Male Champion of Change Award honorees are:
- Paul Rumler
- Dan Portes
- Jay Justin
The 2019 ATHENA Awards luncheon will take place at 11:30 a.m. on April 4 at Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf. Register online.
