West Des Moines-based business-support services provider Aureon announced that Justyn Miller has accepted the position of president of Aureon Technology. Miller has served on the Aureon Network Services board of directors for the past seven years and in April was named chairman of the board. Miller, who has been general manager and CEO of South Slope Cooperative Communications in North Liberty for the past seven and a half years, was previously the CEO of Kalona Telephone Cooperative, where he worked for 13 years. “In his role on the board, Justyn has been very instrumental in setting the Aureon vision and purpose,” said Ron Keller, CEO of Aureon. “His customer service orientation, leadership style and experience in our industries make him the right candidate for this position.” Aureon rebranded in March from the INS Family of Companies. Miller officially will begin his new job on Oct. 31.
