Ted Bair, regional director of the Iowa State University Small Business Development Center in Ames, has been named the 2016 Iowa “State Star” by the national Small Business Development Center organization, America’s SBDC. Bair was the regional director of the North Iowa Area SBDC from March 2006 until February 2014, Iowa SBDC interim state director from March to August 2014, and has been the ISU SBDC regional director since August 2014. He was nominated by his associates for this honor and will be recognized during the America’s SBDC national fall conference in Orlando, Fla., in September.
