Amy Baker began work this week as the city of Ankeny’s communications manager. She will lead strategic communications and marketing efforts. Baker, who worked for the Greater Des Moines Partnership for nearly a decade, will answer to City Manager David Jones. Baker is a member of the Community Leadership Program Class of 2016 at the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute. She also serves on the Ankeny Community School District’s School Improvement Advisory Council. She is a graduate of St. Ambrose University. Read more
