Bank of America is accepting applications for its expanded Student Leaders internship program, which last summer was offered for the first time in Greater Des Moines. This year the program will again offer paid internships for two local high school students. The signature philanthropic program offers high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to build their workforce and leadership skills through a paid summer internship at a local nonprofit and the ability to help improve their communities. This year, Student Leaders will earn $17 per hour during their eight-week internship at a local nonprofit. Applications are being accepted through Jan. 31.
