Ames-based BodyViz said today that it has signed a non-disclosure agreement with Tata Elxsi Ltd. for negotiations on an international distribution agreement. Tata Elxsi is a division of the $70 billion Tata Group of companies that has headquarters in India and operates in international markets. Tata Elxsi has been in the virtual reality market for the past 10 years and commands a leading position in providing virtual reality solutions in India. Tata Elxsi is interested in selling the three-dimensional stereoscopic version of BodyViz on its large-scale virtual reality projection systems, according to BodyViz.
