Branstad administration plans business trips abroad
Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds will make two trade promotion trips to Asia this year. The announcement was made today at the administration’s weekly press conference. Branstad’s group will visit South Korea and China. The trip is tentatively scheduled from June 6 to June 17. The trip will include business meetings, trade shows and a visit to Des Moines’ sister city of Shijiazhuang, China, according to a press release from the governor’s office. Reynolds plans to visit Japan and Taiwan in September.
