Gov. Terry Branstad has named Bruce Rastetter, Katie Mulholland and Nicole Carroll to the Iowa Board of Regents, which oversees the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, University of Northern Iowa, the Iowa School for the Deaf and the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School. Rastetter is the CEO of Hawkeye Energy Holdings LLC; Mulholland is the superintendent of Linn-Mar Community School District; and Carroll has a law degree and has been president of the Carroll Community School District, according to a release from the governor’s office. All three will serve six-year terms beginning May 1 if their appointments are confirmed by the Iowa Senate.
