Branstad will push Iowa business opportunities in Chicago
Gov. Terry Branstad will travel to Chicago on Thursday and Friday to highlight economic opportunities in Iowa, the governor’s office announced today.
He will talk to Illinois-based businesses that currently have operations in Iowa, and also plans to talk to businesses that have interest in relocating or expanding to Iowa.
Branstad, in a press release, expressed disappointment that Iowa did not pass a property tax reform proposal.
