Broadlawns named a ‘Most Wired’ hospital
Broadlawns Medical Center has been recognized as one of the nation’s “Most Wired – Small and Rural Hospitals” by Hospitals & Health Networks magazine.
The “Most Wired” lists are based on a survey and benchmarking study conducted annually by the magazine, which is the journal of the American Hospital Association. Broadlawns uses electronic medical record technology and last month introduced PatientSecure, a palm vein scanning system.
Chief Financial Officer Al White estimates Broadlawns saves $660,000 in annual service fees through efficiencies gained. To see the full list of winners, click here.
