Broadlawns Medical Center has announced an expanded partnership with Capital Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine to expand orthopedic care options. This collaboration builds upon an existing relationship with Capital Orthopaedics that began last fall. Beginning Sept. 2, Capital Orthopaedics will begin the transition to provide full-time clinic, surgical, and 24/7 call coverage at Broadlawns, aiming to offer patients more access to advanced orthopedic and sports medicine services. Capital Orthopaedics will continue to operate from Broadlawns’ Medical Plaza clinic at 1761 Hickman Road. “Capital Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is widely respected for their patient-centered approach and broad expertise,” Dr. Tamara Chance, chief medical officer at Broadlawns Medical Center, said in a prepared statement. “This partnership enhances our ability to offer specialized services and helps ensure that patients continue to receive care in a timely and responsive manner, in step with the growing needs of our community.”
