Des Moines law firm BrownWinick announced it will be providing complimentary basic wills and powers of attorney for military veterans in Iowa. In honor of Veterans Day, the firm will be hosting its second “Wills for Veterans” estate planning clinic. The event will take place Nov. 11 at the West48 conference center in West Des Moines from 12 to 4 p.m. “We are excited about the opportunity to give back to veterans in our community and provide a meaningful service that can help give families peace of mind,” said Robert Hodges, Army veteran and co-chair of BrownWinick’s estate planning. Wills for Veterans is open to all Iowa military veterans and their spouses. Registration is required in advance.
