Buffett financial reporting criticized
Investment analysts are criticizing Warren Buffett over the quality of the financial disclosures of his company, Berkshire Hathaway Inc., Reuters reported. Interviews with five of the six analysts who cover the $370 billion company found that they all had difficulty modeling the company’s financial results based on quarterly filings. Berkshire’s holdings include Berkshire Hathaway Energy, formerly MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co. Buffett rejected the criticism, contending that Berkshire communicates “all the relevant factors for a long-term investment in the shares.”
