103 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentThe nation’s home builders have expressed confidence in the market for new single-family homes this month, but their view of the future has soured a bit. The National Association of Home Builders said its index of builder confidence is holding steady at 60 this month, the same as a downwardly revised reading for December. The component for current sales conditions increased two points to 67, while a measure of sales expectations over the next six months fell three points to 63 and the measure of buyer traffic fell two points to 44. Any reading of 50 or above means that builders are optimistic.
