Building Energy plans $55 million Iowa wind farm
Building Energy, a multinational company operating as Global Integrated IPP, plans to complete a $55 million wind energy project in four counties north of Des Moines by the end of next year. The 30 megawatts of capacity will come from 10 wind turbines that will produce power to be sold to Alliant Energy Corp. The development will be the Italian-based multinational’s first wind farm. The company has been involved in solar projects.
