Business Volunteer Council to meet
The governor’s office and the Iowa Commission on Volunteer Service will host a Business Volunteer Council meeting on Jan. 10 to discuss how they can help accelerate volunteering in the state. The meeting will be held at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, 700 E. University Ave., from 7:45 to 9 a.m., led by Janae Jenison of the governor’s staff and Adam Lounsbury, executive director of the Iowa Commission on Volunteer Service. Click here to register
