The By Degrees Foundation announced this morning that it will fund the initial investment made into College Savings Iowa 529 accounts for more than 780 Harding Middle School students. The programming and funding builds on the work started at Findley Elementary School and includes all Harding Middle School students, regardless of where they attended elementary school. The expansion to Harding Middle School will provide college savings accounts for the nearly 600 students who did not attend Findley Elementary. This program also supports family financial empowerment efforts and will be combined with family and student financial education and postsecondary planning.
