Greater Des Moines Partnership CEO Jay Byers, Class of 1993, recently received Simpson College’s Alumni Achievement Award for outstanding career achievement, service to the community and service to the college. Dustin Thomas, Class of  2007, managing partner for Midwest Growth Partners, received the Recent Alumni Achievement Award. Roger Spahr, Class of 1962, retired from Iowa Realty Co. Inc., and retired Iowa Methodist Medical Center dietary technician Sandra Hanselman Spahr, Class of 1962, each received an Alumni Loyalty Award for outstanding service to the Indianola school.
