Cannon named Farm Bureau regional manager
Maggie Cannon of Des Moines has been named a regional manager for the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, covering Boone, Dallas, Greene, Polk and Story counties. Cannon grew up on a Jasper County farm and has a communications degree from Iowa State University. She has worked for agricultural nonprofits, the Brazos County Fair and Rodeo in Texas and Practical Farmers of Iowa. “Growing up on a farm, Maggie understands the challenges, successes and lifestyles of the farmers she will be working with,” said Marty Schwager, the Farm Bureau’s director of field service.
