CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. announced that the U.S. Postal Service has confirmed the Los Angeles-based commercial real estate services firm as its exclusive provider of strategic corporate real estate solutions nationally.

CB Richard Ellis will provide transaction management services for the postal service, including leasing and disposition of assets, according to a press release. The organization’s portfolio consists of about 35,000 facilities.

Historically, the postal service has worked with multiple real estate service providers, including CB Richard Ellis, since 1997. Under the new contract, the postal service will consolidate its real estate activities under the umbrella of one service provider.

Los Angeles-based CB Richard Ellis operates more than more than 300 offices worldwide, including CB Richard Ellis/Hubbell Commercial in West Des Moines.
