Collins Community Credit Union has opened a branch at the Price Chopper grocery store at 3435 Ingersoll Ave. and plans to open more branches at Price Choppers at 5540 86th St. in Johnston and 4343 Merle Hay Road in Des Moines. A mortgage division is planned for 73rd Street in Clive and a branch will open at 6260 Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines, according to a release. Members may join at any of the new locations or the existing branch in the Federal Building at 210 Walnut St. in Des Moines. All locations will be overseen by Nick Tonelli, who was hired in January by Collins Community Credit Union as a retail regional manager to help with the expansion in Greater Des Moines. Timothy Gootee has been named manager of the 86th Street branch, which is to open July 21.
